On this week’s podcast, Dan and Kris open the SAG BAG to answer your burning questions. Once again, many had very little to do with video games, and a lot to do with Dan’s sex life. Great job, everyone!
In Week Old News, we discover a 1981 reference in Donkey Kong Bananza, Chuck E. Cheese goes after adults, and OneXSugar is super weird. Oh, and Microsoft laid off a metric ton of people even though their profits were doing just fine. Sigh.
Then, in The Checkpoint, well, nothing. They didn’t do the checkpoint because they spent a few hours answering the SAG BAG.
Enjoy!
Show Notes This time in A Theater Near You, the team tackles Unstoppable for the letter U. Why? Because Kris has excellent taste in movies, that’s why! It’s a movie about Denzel Washington and Chris Pine trying to stop a runaway train while Rosario Dawson looks on from a distance, and it’s all VERY serious. There was also a lot of talk about muppets. Enjoy! PS. We did something different with Sean’s audio. It did NOT work. We’re sorry.

On this week’s podcast, Dan and Kris try their darndest to recap the over 12 hours of trailers presented in the various summer showcases that hit this past week, from the Horror Game Awards Summer Showcase to a surprisingly outstanding State of Play, Summer Games Fest, and more. Did they lose their minds wading through these things? Were the likes of Scott Pilgrim, Ninja Gaiden Ragebound, Mortal Kombat Legacy Kollection, and Metal Gear Solid Delta enough to drive them truly mad?
Then, in Week Old News, well, there was no Week Old Mews. It was just all these showcases!
Finally, in The Checkpoint, Kris got the Switch 2! He recaps his experience getting it at the midnight launch, how the setup went, and how late he was up messing around with it on Day 1.
